Louie “KR.ONE” Gasparro is a natural self taught artist born and raised in New York City. Influenced by the album cover art of the 70’s, the Saturday morning cartoon greats and the steel canvasses that thundered down the tracks of his Astoria, Queens elevated train stations. These influences blend together in Louie’s original drawings and canvasses to form what he describes as “the enigmatic bending of the alphabetical system”, “a stylized derivative of what were once known as the A B C’s”. In the attitude of exploding clichés” Louie uses himself as the example that explodes the cliché of the much stigmatized art form known as Graffiti. The cliché being that every artist within this culture is committing a crime and will go on to commit more serious crimes. Within this site you will find many explosions of that cliché. Louie has drummed, played guitar , traveled the world and created original artwork for such legendary NYC musical groups such as, MURPHY’s LAW, LORDZ OF BROOKLYN, BLITZSPEER , SUPERVILLAIN and THE RESURRECTION SORROW.
